I’m so happy You’re here

Artist painting a landscape on an easel outdoors in front of a wooden cabin.

My story

I absolutely love to make stuff! Seriously, it’s like a compulsion — I’m constantly creating in some capacity or another, and it honestly just makes me so happy. For me, making art is a form of meditative movement: calming, fulfilling, and grounding. It’s not just something I do — it’s how I process the world, how I celebrate it, and how I connect with others.

Whether I’m carving paint or playing with pastels or oils, I’m always thinking about how to bring comfort, color, and a bit of joy into your space. I want my art to feel like a soft landing — something that helps you breathe a little deeper and feel a little more at home.

A couple of fun facts about me:

  • I went to MICA in Baltimore, MD and have a BFA in Painting

  • I also received my MAT from MICA and have been a public school art teacher for 11 years (wow, that flew by!)

  • Despite my best efforts, I still don’t have much of a green thumb (working on it… but really it’s a 50/50 shot that I accidentally will kill a plant)

  • my coffee and kitchen tables are where I do most of my making 😉

  • I love you for being here - and if you read all of this, then you’re a true rockstar

“I chose your carvings for my home because they’re more than just beautiful—they feel alive. Your work blends texture, creativity, and unexpected pairings in a way that sparks conversation. They’re tactile, showing a history of process. It’s so interesting!”
