The Masseria's Secret
An absolutely life-changing trip to the south of Italy inspired this oil painting. I traveled with friends and family to the town of Ostuni and was so incredibly lucky to experience the beautiful Puglia countryside. We stayed in a lovely Masseria where we ate the most delicious food and basked in the sun-drenched landscape (and explored in the cutest little blue & white tuk-tuk truck). I dream of the white-washed fairytale of a town, the local orange-amber wine, the fresh juice of the figs, and the olive oil (that I’m convinced is the secret to eternal life). All of my senses are active when I look at this painting - I hope it invites the feeling of a warm Italian sun into your home.
